Slow and Steady Speed Folk Music Session

Do you want to play in local English folk music sessions?

• Learn common tunes you will hear played in folk music sessions locally and nationally.
• Learn to play by ear without the music, even if you think you can't.
• Learn how to join in, even if you can't quite keep up.
• Learn tunes even if you don't read music.
• Gain confidence to play along with others.
• Meet a load of nice people who are learning too.
• Come along in person or online.
• Any instruments welcome.

How Does It Work?

I run separate "proper slow" and "steady speed" sessions.
There is a written music for 24 tune sets and access to a private YouTube channel with steady speed videos of the tunes for you to play along to.

When: Usually 4th Sunday of the month, September - June.

• Proper slow 5:45 - 6:45pm.
• Steady Speed 7-8.30pm.

Where: Kempley, Gloucestershire, or on zoom
